We are seeking a reliable Sander to support furniture production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for sanding, prepping, and finishing wooden furniture components to ensure a smooth, high-quality surface prior to staining or assembly.
Responsibilities:
Sand wooden furniture components using hand tools and power sanders
Prepare surfaces for finishing, staining, or painting
Inspect pieces for defects, rough spots, or imperfections
Follow quality standards to ensure consistent finished product
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and proper equipment usage
Work closely with production and finishing teams
Assist with general shop or production tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Previous woodworking, sanding, or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with hand and power tools required or strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
